Which is your favourite machine: I love them all so much! How can I choose only one? Lumbar. I love the feeling of stability in my back and having no back pain ever from strengthening my deeper back muscles.

What is your best health habit: High-intensity strength training 1x per week since 2013.

What are you most passionate about outside of the studio: Health, I’m a total health geek, always curious about how to optimize well-being and quality longevity. I love to see and practice the connection between things like singing and calming the nervous system. Or tapping. Or meditation/prayer. Or laughter. I absolutely having this human body to experiment on. It’s all play for me.

Which is your favourite machine: Chest press. When I first started training with Evolved this was my weakest machine. Now that I have strengthened those muscles it feels great!

Why do you love the workout: I love the results. I am stronger & more toned than I’ve ever been in my life.

What is your best health habit: Overall I’d say getting a good nights sleep which requires many little habits such as: cutting out caffeine after 12 pm, taking a magnesium supplement, & doing a meditation before sleep.

What are you most passionate about outside of the studio: Getting out in nature, hiking, & traveling.

What is your post-workout go-to: lots of water with a splash of apple cider vinegar.

Funniest thing you’ve heard a client say during their workout: the list is long but having someone call me “dragon lady” was pretty funny

What advice would you give to someone before their first workout: just take a deep breath and start. Starting is always the toughest part. Trust your body and trust your trainer!

What is your best health habit: eating slowly and thoroughly enjoying every bite. That way my portion sizes stay under control and I don’t have to deny myself anything I’m craving.

What are you most passionate about outside of the studio: Literature and the environment! Defending the natural world’s words that many refuse to hear!

Why do you love the workout: The 15 min high-intensity work out gives me a huge boost of energy! It also helps with my posture and I know I will be safe from overtraining and injuries.

What advice would you give to someone before their first workout: Come in with an open mind and be excited for great changes to come! Challenge yourself.

What are you most passionate about outside of the studio: Food!!! I’m keen on learning and making recipes that are healthy yet taste amazing. My fiancé and I are big foodies! We have our treats and eat out once in a while but make sure balance them out with healthy meals. 80/20 rule!

Which is your favourite machine: Chin ups!! Love the feeling of pulling your own body up and showing off that back strength

Why do you love the workout: It makes you push past your boundaries! Helps you recruit the hard to reach fast twitch muscle fibers.

What is your post-workout go-to: When I’m on the run I love a shake with plant based protein, glutamine, creatine and bcaas.
